The microscopic fibres embed in your lungs and over time can cause lung cancer, mesothelioma, and asbestosis. Asbestos fibres are too small to see with the naked eye. The only way to be sure if asbestos is present is to have the materials tested.

Home SOULutions Remediation will be pleased to come and collect samples of material for you if you are doing a small renovation project such as removing a wall or some flooring – or if you have vermiculite insulation in your attic. Both Roy Piper and Len Steves possess their AHERA certification. This means they have been trained in the proper protocols for sample collection. They will take these samples to the lab for you and have them tested. The amount of samples needed for collection and your timeline for results will determine the cost for this service.

If you are conducting a large-scale renovation project or planning a demolition we recommend that you have a complete hazardous materials survey conducted directly by the environmental lab. We suggest you contact:

Thank you so much, Roy and Corae, for the excellent work that you did in the remediation of the asbestos found in our house. We appreciated your thoroughness in assessing the situation, the expediency of your quote and your regular updates. Your initial walk through the house found more asbestos than the Environmental Analysts and the other companies that quoted on the job. We were so pleased when the job was started and completed when you said it would be with no unexpected surprises in the final invoice.  We will definitely use Home SOULutions again if we need hazardous materials remediation.
